Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Product Owner (Associate Manager) to join our Newcastle-based team on a hybrid basis. You will define product vision with stakeholders, manage backlogs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions.

You’ll lead agile ceremonies, mentor peers, and ensure alignment with security and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement and value creation for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring Product Owners or Business Analysts.
• Proven expertise managing the full product lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
• Hands-on experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or SAFe environments; proficient with JIRA & Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and goals to development teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with stakeholders to co-create product strategy; serve as proxy Product Owner when required.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog; ensure alignment with objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and UX teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams; ensure transparency and communication.
