Join us as a Product Owner, Head of Digital Servicing Asset Management

What you'll do
As a Product Owner, Head of Digital Servicing Asset Management, you’ll bring the point of view of our customers, end users or stakeholders to the forefront of understanding the product vision. You’ll balance strategic vision, technical oversight, operational efficiency, and leadership to ensure our investment platform meets user needs and business objectives. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving our product success and ensuring our platform’s long-term viability.
With exceptional leadership skills, you’ll drive your team towards this vision, regularly stopping along the way to check-in, adjust, calibrate and move forward. We’ll also look to you to make sure that stories and enablers meet acceptance and quality criteria, keeping them in-line with the vision, features and programme increment objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the platform's performance and user experience, using analytics and feedback to identify areas for improvement, along with utilising data-driven insights to implement and monitor KPIs, measuring success and enhancing customer satisfaction through informed decision-making .
- Responding to and managing incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on users and conducting post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Adapting to constantly shifting project scopes and deadlines, adjusting workflow and focus as necessary to accommodate new priorities and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
- Making sure that the backlog is maintained, and that your delivery teams are frequently collaborating with customers or users to populate and refine the backlog
- Helping to drive programme iteration objectives at a team or enterprise level, and coordinating with other product owners, enterprise architects and system teams
- Managing financials and team costs, ensuring optimization and alignment with business goalsSupporting the development of your teams by answering any questions and removing impediments
- Tracking and reporting progress, and attending any retrospective, spanning all delivery teams that are involved with delivering the product
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need technical expertise, product management acumen, strong communication, leadership abilities, and strategic thinking to effectively manage the product lifecycle, ensure alignment with business goals, and deliver value to users.
We’re looking for a creative thinker, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team. You’ll need to be able to relate your everyday work to the broader strategic vision of your feature team, along with the ability to maintain a strong focus on business outcomes, and, you’ll have excellent communication and influencing skills.
Additionally, we’ll expect you to have:
- The ability to quickly gain an understanding of emerging digital capabilities and the ability to communicate and engage with colleagues at all levels, working with delivery teams and knowledge of collaboration techniques
- An understanding of how to drive innovative ideas through Agile ways of working and harnessing digital and technological advances that benefit our customers
- Experience of adapting to quickly changing environments, translating data into action and demonstrating an experimental mindset and experience of changing team or department mind-sets, culture and structure
- To be purpose-driven, and ready to drive positive change for the organisation while taking a holistic view of processes to improve and encourage others to do the same
- Experience of building and maintaining a positive working relationship with stakeholders across the business, and working at pace while maintaining quality of delivery
- Knowledge of product development and management techniques
- Expertise in investment products, including market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
- Financial acumen to manage and optimise team costs, with a data-driven mindset to support customer-centric decisions
