Job summary

Vallum Associates seeks a Product Owner/Business Analyst for London-based data platform projects. The role requires strong experience in backlog management, user story definition and prioritization, balancing requirements across operational, security and compliance needs.

You will work with Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Cloud, and engage with marketing data sources and governance processes while coordinating with stakeholders to align priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst in data platforms, marketing analytics or banking domains.
• Strong backlog management, user story definition and prioritization techniques.
• Ability to balance functional and non-functional requirements including operational, security and compliance needs.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Cloud.
• Familiarity with marketing processes and data sources (campaign performance, digital marketing integration).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to reconcile competing priorities.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance and audit processes including risk and security frameworks.

Location: London (3 days on site per week)

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within data platforms, marketing analytics, or banking domains
