Job description

Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers manage their supply chain governance, risk management, and compliance. We work across the public and private sectors and have over 250k customers across the UK, spanning 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality, education, facility and property management, manufacturing, and government.

Role Summary:

Carbonica is a new initiative to capture and measure the full life-cycle assessment of carbon usage in building projects, from estimation to actual as-built usage.

The role holder will support the development and management of the Carbonica product, helping to define features and deliver exceptional user experiences for contractors and sub-contractors. This will align with the product strategy and business objectives. The role involves working on the launch of a new SaaS product, built from the ground up with reference to an existing MVP and industry standards. The role requires close collaboration with the CTO, Product Manager, and cross-functional teams including engineering and design to prioritize the product backlog, launch new features, and ensure the platform meets customer needs and drives commercial value.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the backlog for all Carbonica features, including workflows and transaction flows, working closely with the Product Manager.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, user feedback, and analytics.
  • Translate high-level business goals into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, and communicate these to engineering teams ahead of each sprint cycle.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive, user-centric product experiences.
  • Work with engineering teams in Agile sprints to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Monitor feature performance during QA and launch phases, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.

Problem Resolution:

  • Maintain and report on progress, acting as the first point of contact for engineering regarding new features.
  • Identify and escalate issues promptly, providing potential solutions when possible.

Design and User Experience:

  • Collaborate with the Design and User Experience Research (UXR) teams to deliver a top-tier user experience.
  • Specify and document briefs for designers and UX researchers.
  • Manage outputs from UXR and design teams into engineering.

  • A high-quality degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex problems.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on product analytics.
  • Experience with Bill of Quantities, Bill of Materials, BIM models, building estimation tools, and technologies.
