About the Role

The Product Owner - Business Managed Technology is an important leadership and delivery role, with a focus on galvanising members of the remediation Business Solutions function and Technology partners around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver value at pace. This role understands and manages diverse stakeholder needs, prioritises business and technology enablers, and keeps optimization of our Remediation Tooling and Data Assets for the benefit of customers at the heart of decision making.

The role will be accountable for Operational maintenance, updates, and optimisation for Remediation assets to ensure tools remain fit for purpose, and for Remediation asset build and delivery / uplift for Remediation requirements as and when required.

Guiding Journey Experts and Data professionals within the Business Solutions function to design and deliver quality solutions and services, in a fast paced and well managed way, which makes sure we get things right for our internal stakeholders and customers.

Developing the future roadmap of applications and ensuring continual prioritisation and planning aligned to business and technology priorities with the customer at the heart of decision making.

Execute the Cloud transition Strategy that aligns with the business objectives and internal customer demands.

Develop Product(s) / Application(s) roadmap and vision for cloud-based solutions ensuring alignment with Business Solutions teams goals.

Work closely with stakeholders, Preparation, Processing, Technology, Data Analyst & Engineers and Management to continuously gather requirements and input to ensure that your products meet the needs and expectations of its users.

Ensure work is strategically aligned and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies.

Consulting with stakeholders to understand and balance business, platform and well managed needs and implement changes with sound decision making and effective change management.

Bring the squad together around a vision and support them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

Drive team delivery, manage dependencies and delivery risks, with the constant focus on meeting performance and delivery goals.

Ensure compliance with ANZ’s delivery and risk policies and frameworks.

Fostering an engaged, curious and continuous improvement mindset across the team.

Responsible for supporting the performance, capability uplift and development of people who report to this role.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :

  • Deep expertise as a Product Owner with technical & Cloud (AWS / Google) knowledge.
  • Delivery Management with experience implementing change.
  • Develops self and others through team building, coaching and learning opportunities.
  • Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships.
  • Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making.
  • Ability to challenge yourself and the business on the value that will be delivered to customers.
  • Experience in understanding the build of modern data pipelines / platforms using GCP services such as Cloud Build, Dataflow, Cloud functions.
  • Experience in data warehouse solutions, preferably in a cloud environment and a familiarity with cloud-native data engineering tools.
  • Leads self and others through change, transition, and uncertainty through developing strong change agenda, maintaining focus, and ensuring open and constructive dialogue around change.
  • Fosters a culture that encourages the use of creative and innovative problem-solving techniques, and encourages outward focus toward different ways of doing things.
  • Deepens and sustains relationships and facilitates internal & external stakeholder buy-in.
