Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their client in Leeds. The role focuses on analysing business needs, enhancing products, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product ownership or business analysis, with agile experience and a track record of end-to-end delivery and stakeholder management. A strong pension and bonus are included in the package.

Product Owner

Permanent | Leeds | Hybrid | Up to £60k per annum + Bonus + Excellent Pension

Proactive IT Appointments are currently supporting our leading client on the search for an experienced Product Owner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to play a key role in the continuous development and enhancement of products and supporting systems, driving business improvements and delivering tangible benefits. Working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, improving processes, supporting solution development and ensuring the successful delivery of product enhancements.

Previous Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Junior Product Owner or Business Analyst position

Essential Experience Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work at a detailed level across complex business functions.
• Capable of: identifying and challenging the effectiveness of existing ways of working; of proposing improvements; and of achieving buy-in from stakeholders.
• Experience working within agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with third party suppliers and off-shore teams.
• Experience of end-to-end project delivery.
• Understands and applies risk management techniques.
• Demonstrates and applies principles of data governance.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience developing B2C websites (including wireframing tools).
• Experience developing B2C mobile applications.
• Experience implementing/supporting single sign on solutions.
• Experience implementing/supporting system integration solutions.
• Experience in data modelling and database querying (particularly SQL databases).
• Experience of API payload analysis.
• Experience working in the pensions industry.
• Experience working with ADO.
• BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (in part or whole).
• Qualifications in Lean Six Sigma.
