Qualifications

  • Degree or HND required in relevant engineering field.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong communication and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

About the Role

Location: Swindon (4 days per week onsite)

Salary: Up to £60k (DOE) + Up to 10% bonus

Overview

Are you a technically-minded engineer with a can-do attitude, looking to transition into product ownership? Do you have a background in electronics, software design, or power systems applications, and want to influence change using agile methods? This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your leadership skills within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Owning and managing the product backlog, aligning with commercial, market, and customer needs.
  2. Defining product and feature requirements through market research, competitor analysis, and VOC input.
  3. Acting as the central hub for product-related information and expertise.
  4. Supporting the business with product knowledge and anticipating technical or market challenges.
  5. Liaising with Account Managers to ensure consistent customer communication.
  6. As experience grows, providing pre-sale technical advice, producing marketing content, and resolving product-specific queries.
Qualifications
  • Degree or HND in electrical, electronic, or software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and effective prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
