Job summary

Gazelle Global seeks a Data Product Owner for a 6+ month contract based in Sheffield. The role focuses on accelerating data delivery across TPRM, Procurement and Real Estate Services to underpin a programme on Operational Resilience.

You will govern data products and insights, enabling informed decisions, improving performance and unlocking value from data assets. Strong knowledge of data architecture and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Operational Resilience concepts and hands-on data experience.
• Familiarity with Procurement/Real Estate data domains is preferred.
• Experience in a data-related role with ownership of outcomes.

Job description

As a supplier to one of our biggest organisations, I am seeking for an Data Product Owner for a 6 months+ contract in Sheffield.

Responsibilities:

Data Product Owner to accelerate data delivery across TPRM, Procurement and Real Estate Services to support a programme of work on Operational Resillience. The team provides governed data products and insights to empower informed decisions, improve operational performance, and unlock value from our data assets.

Experience:

• Strong understanding of Operational Resilience concepts and hands-on experience with relevant data e.g. service / impact tolerances, asset dependency incidents / outages, DR / BCP test evidence, concentration indicators
• Conceptual understanding of Procurement / Real Estate and associated data domains preferred
• Demonstrable experience in a data-related role (data product, analytics, data operations, data engineering, MI delivery) with ownership of outcomes
• Working knowledge of data architecture, data management, data governance concepts
• Experience building or managing data assets aligned to business outcomes and strategic data models (e.g. curated datasets, KPIs, semantic models, reports)
• Understanding of data architecture and data modelling (conceptual / logical), and how design decisions impact downstream consumption and scalability
• Practical experience with data quality assessment, uncovering inconsistencies across systems, and driving remediation with accountable owners
• Familiarity with modern data platform patterns (e.g. metadata-driven discovery) and operating models for reusable data products
