Your new role: Product Owner

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success? Do you have a knack for optimising platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results? This role is for you.

As the Product Owner at Global, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology platforms that support marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with teams across the business to enhance customer experiences, optimise initiatives, and ensure our platforms are driving measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership (50%)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, CRM, product development, and commercial—to drive new features, product enhancements, and improvements

  • Develop and manage Global's technology roadmap, ensuring it aligns with both business objectives and strategies

  • Establish key performance metrics (OKRs) for product initiatives, focusing on testing, learning, and continuous optimisation

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of attribution systems, ensuring clear measurement of performance

  • Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of the customer journey and key touch points for Self Service

Platform Optimisation (30%)

  • Manage and improve the performance of platforms that support marketing activities, ensuring seamless integration and user experience

  • Collaborate with the data team to analyse user behaviour and identify trends that provide actionable insights for product optimisation

  • Work closely with product teams, designers, and developers to refine platform offerings and deliver impactful features and campaigns

Day-to-Day Management (20%)

  • Monitor and report on the quality and performance of platforms, ensuring smooth functionality across email, web, and app channels

  • Coordinate A/B testing of different marketing options to identify the most effective approaches

  • Incorporate customer feedback into platform updates and product features

  • Regularly provide insights and updates on platform performance, ensuring transparency across the business

  • Created and executed a test-and-learn strategy, enhancing channel effectiveness and improving platform performance

  • Established strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring product initiatives are aligned with broader business objectives

What You’ll Need
  • Proven Experience: Significant experience in product management, especially with platforms that support marketing activities

  • Technical Competence: Strong technical knowledge of relevant platforms, with the ability to manage technical configurations and create HTML content

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with multiple teams to drive product enhancements and deliver results

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyse and interpret data to identify trends and optimize strategies, making data-backed decisions to drive business outcomes

  • Testing Expertise: Experience setting up and analysing A/B tests to determine effective approaches

  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile product development environment

  • Tools in Scope: Relevant marketing platforms and analytics tools such as Braze, Wordpress, SEMRush and other SEO platforms
