Job description

The Product Operations Lead plays a key role in supporting the launch and delivery of new patient pathway services. Working closely with the Product Owner, Clinical Leads, and Technical Delivery teams, the role supports smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating processes, maintaining clear and accurate documentation, and enabling effective communication across stakeholders. In addition to product operations, the role includes line management and day-to-day leadership of the administrative team supporting new service delivery. The postholder will help set clear expectations, support professional development, and ensure operational standards are consistently met. This role is well suited to someone looking to develop a career in product management and service delivery within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven healthcare environment.

This is a home‑based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face‑to‑face meetings at various locations within the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and maintaining documentation.
  • Coordinate scheduling for agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Track progress of tasks and update project management tools to ensure visibility.
  • Collect and organise feedback from stakeholders and users for analysis.
  • Support KPI tracking and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Maintain dashboards and ensure data accuracy for decision‑making.
  • Act as a point of contact for operational queries related to new service delivery.
  • Help prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions.
  • Ensure timely communication between clinical, technical, and operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Document processes and maintain version control for service delivery materials.
  • Lead and manage the administrative team supporting patient pathways.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team capability.
  • Ensure workload distribution and resource planning align with service delivery goals.
