The role of a Product Marketing Manager - IoT at Canonical

Canonical is seeking a Product Marketing Manager IoT responsible for developing marketing strategies and go-to-market plans globally for Canonical's IoT portfolio. This dynamic, hands-on role requires collaboration with Product, Engineering, Content, Sales, and other Marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and its marketing, enjoys ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. They should be proactive problem solvers, experimenters, and advocates for automation.

This position reports to the product marketing lead within the marketing team.

Location: This role is remote in the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Planning and executing go-to-market strategies for Canonical's IoT products.
  2. Managing content dissemination, campaign development, and product launches.
  3. Developing compelling messaging emphasizing business value and target audience engagement.
  4. Creating customer communications to upsell and cross-sell.
  5. Collaborating with demand generation teams to optimize marketing funnels using data insights.
  6. Planning events, webinars, and supporting paid and social media promotions.
  7. Creating and publishing content aligned with marketing campaigns.
  8. Monitoring competitors to define differentiating product positioning.

Qualifications and skills include:
