This is a predominantly office based role, (Northern Home Counties), with some periodic travel to major UK Customer Sites.

No involvement in Product Development is required; however, as a ‘Sales Growth’ Product Marketing Manager, you will need to understand the equipment and market that the company operates in.

The role will contribute to the marketing department’s activities regarding business development, identifying new features and benefits that will appeal to the market.

Our Client is looking for an experienced Marketing Professional who will assist the Marketing Manager and who is passionate about contributing to building products that their customers will love.

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with cross-functional teams to contribute to the design, build, and roll-out of products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Drive product launches, including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with product line strategy and effectively convey the message.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in Marketing within the General Print Equipment sector—experience with Inkjet Equipment or high-volume production inkjet print equipment is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
