Job summary

Klipboard is seeking a Proposition Manager in Hungerford, UK. This permanent full-time role combines product marketing with practical execution, shaping how our ERP/SaaS solutions are positioned to wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.

You will collaborate with product and marketing teams to craft compelling value propositions, develop sales tools, and support new product launches across a hybrid work setup (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• Degree educated in marketing, product development or a business-related field.
• A blend of marketing finesse, strategic thinking and product understanding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey product value propositions.
• Ability to understand technical software products and translate feature sets into value for customers.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product development, sales, marketing and customer support.
• Bring creative ideas for product positioning, messaging and promotional campaigns that stand out in the market.
• Proficient in data analysis to measure the success of content strategy, understand customer behaviour and make informed recommendations and decisions.
• Ability to quickly grasp and understand the features and benefits of our products to be marketed focussing on unique selling points.
• Previous experience in product marketing, especially in a product-focused role.
• Familiarly with the ERP industry and the target audience.

Responsibilities

• Product marketing for existing solutions: develop toolkit to support product sales and ensure timely updates.
• Develop user and buyer personas and research the market to learn the competitive environment.
• Work with the marketing team to create materials that highlight product features and benefits.
• Train the sales teams on articulating the products’ benefits to prospects.
• Assist with demand creation initiatives to generate awareness of value propositions across Klipboard product range.
• Develop high-level sales tools (case studies, references, white papers, event support) for regional marketing teams.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely release of new information and materials.
• Support New Product releases by preparing sales tools per product release plan.
• Lead the development of a strong value proposition and articulate benefits to target customers.
