The Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for course and subject area positioning and promotion. You will develop tactical marketing plans and create key messaging to drive the success of our courses in the market across the Coventry University Group.

You will stay well-informed of competitor and market research to develop and implement our go-to-market plans on time and within budget, inspiring our audiences to apply and enroll. This requires a holistic approach to reflect group strategic priorities. It is a heavily hands-on role, involving a wide variety of marketing activities to help the group achieve its student recruitment goals.

This role will also serve as a central point of contact for designated internal business partners, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving a collaborative effort in student recruitment.

This Role is based in Coventry

Our Successful Candidate

Our successful candidate will be data-driven, adaptable, organized, and creative. They will demonstrate experience in:

  1. Using data to deliver analysis, insight, and reporting to influence operational and strategic decision-making; identifying, developing, and implementing product opportunities aligned with organizational strategy; creating, gaining support for, and communicating tactical marketing plans.
  2. Managing stakeholders, driving projects to completion, achieving objectives, and monitoring/reporting project progress. Working well in teams, challenging and provoking new thinking, and earning the respect of key stakeholders.
  3. Using excellent written and oral communication skills to summarize and interpret information from various sources.
  4. Creating content in digital and print formats.
  5. Managing projects from inception to delivery, results, and action-driving.
  6. Paying excellent attention to detail, proactively generating ideas, and dealing with issues independently. Approaching issues positively, seeking solutions, working diligently, and effectively under time pressure.
  7. Supporting event delivery outside core hours, including evenings and weekends, and traveling to campuses as needed.
