Job summary

Nexcess, a provider of specialty cloud solutions, seeks a Product Manager - Digital Software to drive website-building products including WordPress themes, blocks, and templates. You will translate client needs into backlog items, define requirements, and partner with Engineering, Design, Support, and Marketing to deliver high-quality product improvements.

The role requires practical website-building experience, a strong sense for user needs, performance, accessibility, and a drive to influence

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or related role involving product development.
• Hands-on WordPress experience including block editor and themes.
• Ability to translate client needs into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of assigned product features across WordPress website-building themes, blocks, patterns, and templates.
• Develop clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting docs.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog based on client needs, strategy, resources, and priorities.
• Break complex problems into actionable deliverables and identify risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to clarify requirements and maintain alignment.
