Product Manager (WordPress)

Each day will look different, but you’ll certainly be:

1. Speaking to customers, lapsed customers, non-customers, and competitors to understand the problems they have.
2. Ideating on how our products can solve these problems or creating new features to achieve the same goal.
3. Working with talented UI/UX designers to bring those ideas to life with working prototypes.
4. Leading a team of world-class developers to see your ideas become reality.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, your role will ensure the future success of the business. Our Product Leads are given the flexibility to run their products like a business within our wider business.

Responsibilities

1. Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and team members.
2. Collaborate with Development and UI/UX teams to create product roadmaps and prioritize features.
3. Conduct telephone/video-call customer interviews to identify customer needs and market trends that inform product decisions.
4. Develop detailed product requirements and specifications to guide the development process.
5. Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve products.
6. Coordinate product launch activities including marketing strategies and training for sales teams.
7. Act as the liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.

Requirements

1. Experience with WordPress is a must!
2. Proven ability to communicate well in both written and spoken English.
3. Ample experience in related roles.
4. The ability to learn new product ecosystems quickly.
5. The ability to lead under pressure and inspire agility in your team.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
7. Experience with product management tools/methodologies.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Creative and entrepreneurial flair to think laterally about products and solutions.
