Job description

Product Manager Role - Underwriting Workbench

An exciting Product Manager role within a small and dynamic team with an appetite for innovation and technology. This is a newly created role reporting directly into the Head of Technology.

As the Underwriting Workbench Product Manager, you will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, working with third-party vendors to implement and configure the new tool. Once delivered, you'll have the opportunity to work across a broader range of digital products.

This role combines business analysis and technical expertise with a strong understanding of Lloyd’s underwriting processes. The successful candidate will ensure the Workbench and related products deliver maximum business value. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, gathering and managing functional and technical requirements, coordinating product enhancements, supporting users, and managing vendor relationships. The role also involves planning product adoption, defining KPIs, facilitating training, and championing product use across the business.

Required Experience:
  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a Product role within the Lloyd's of London insurance industry.
  • Extensive experience with underwriting products and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with digital products in a specialty insurance or underwriting environment.
  • Third-party vendor management.
  • Thorough knowledge of Lloyd’s market processes and terminologies.

Working model: 3-4 days/week in the London office.
