Job description
Overview

As a Product Manager at Lyst, you will play a critical role in our Shopping Experience team, creating impactful user experiences that address key challenges and unlock value for the business. You will lead product discovery to identify and validate opportunities, collaborating with a cross‑functional team to develop innovative solutions and test hypotheses. You will be mentored and trained as part of the Product & Design Chapter to grow your product career at Lyst.

What you will be working on

You will be tasked with bringing a checkout‑first marketplace on Lyst to life, with a US launch and rollout of multi‑item and multi‑retailer cart functionality in early 2026, followed by scaling to new markets. To build a best‑in‑class e‑commerce shopping experience, you’ll work closely with engineering, user research, design, and data to remove friction in payments, cart flows, and post‑purchase journeys. You will solve problems with varying technical complexity, ensuring the teams head in the right direction strategically while staying on track day to day.

Responsibilities
  • Turn company strategy into team strategy. Work with other leaders across the company to determine direction, collaborating with design, data, and engineering to determine what is possible.
  • Prioritise the work to be done. Identify the most impactful customer and business problems with analysts and researchers, and craft creative and viable solutions with engineers.
  • Own execution and delivery. Ensure the team delivers on defined goals and unblocks them when necessary.
  • Bring stakeholders along on the journey. Communicate progress to senior colleagues across the company and contribute to future strategic goals.
  • Product Management: Demonstrate solid foundational experience solving customer‑facing problems in commercial environments, set measurable objectives and key results, and manage e‑commerce and/or marketplace products through ideation, experimentation, and scaling.
  • Stakeholder management: Communicate and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, earning trust and buy‑in while pushing back when needed.
  • Agile: Experience working within agile frameworks, partnering with engineering to iterate quickly and pivot when necessary.
  • Analytics: Proficient in product analytics to understand customer behaviour, make data‑informed decisions, and conduct A/B testing analyses.
  • Technical minded: Contribute to technical design discussions with strong product sense; help define iterations and scope for large technical projects. Prior engineering experience is not necessary.
  • Prioritisation: Balance strategic priorities with day‑to‑day maintenance and make decisive prioritisation.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and foster an inclusive team environment.
  • Hunger for learning: Be inquisitive, deeply understanding problems to find the right solutions.
  • Impact focus: Deliver changes that drive significant business impact and collaborate with the team to prove fast, impactful results.
  • Inclusive: Contribute to an inclusive and positive working environment for everyone.
Things that matter to us
  • You care deeply about delivering a fantastic shopping experience for customers and are commercially driven, seeking improvements in conversion, customer satisfaction, monetisation and sign‑up rates.
  • You are highly analytical and data‑curious, comfortable with qualitative and quantitative analytics, user research, and A/B testing.
  • You are comfortable working in an ambiguous product domain and can explore new problem spaces through experimentation.
  • You are pragmatic and enjoy tackling hard problems.
  • You are a team player who communicates with peers and stakeholders daily.
  • You enjoy nurturing colleagues and empowering the team to their full potential.
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • You are interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning and can apply product thinking to leverage technology.
