Meet the Team

The Cloud Security Product Management team within SBG is responsible for the Security Service Edge/Secure Access Service Edge (SSE/SASE) portfolio across all market segments. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with an extraordinary team in a fast-growing environment while using one of the largest portfolios of security technologies to build and deliver new offerings.

Your Impact

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our Security Business Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies that align with Cisco's vision for the SSE/SASE portfolio. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver groundbreaking security solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

• Identify market problems and collaborate with UX and Engineering to establish results and schedules that align with goals.
• Work with Product Marketing to develop messaging and positioning that explain technical and business value.
• Analyze complex business problems and convert them into discrete user stories.
• Prioritize issues and feature requests and manage product backlogs.
• Validate requirements and resulting products with customers and internal partners to ensure alignment and success.
• Structure effective experimentation frameworks (build-measure-learn) to understand feature impact and key performance indicators.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years or Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years of experience in Product Management within a security, infrastructure, networking, or software engineering environment.
• Product knowledge of Cloud Security/Network Security portfolios.
• Experience with building or delivering SaaS/Cloud based products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Security Service Edge (SSE) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies and standard practices.
• Passion for understanding and solving customer problems with innovative solutions, and ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions.
• Results-oriented approach with the ability to identify and overcome challenges through influence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
