Product Manager – ASSURE Land & Property Solutions

Reporting to: Head of Product Management

Location: Homeworker/Hybrid - Depending on proximity to an NEC office

Shape the future of local government tech.

Are you a strategic thinker passionate about building impactful products? NEC seeks a Product Manager to lead our Land & Property portfolio—covering Planning, Building Control, and Land Charges.

You will shape product vision, align it with industry trends, and translate that into a roadmap and market delivery. Collaborate with customers, government bodies, and internal teams to drive strategy, build partnerships, and deliver solutions that transform local government services.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for Land & Property suite
• Translate strategy into requirements, wireframes, and prototypes with business analysts
• Develop pricing and positioning strategies with sales and marketing teams
• Lead product delivery from concept to launch, working with development teams
• Engage with local authorities, government departments, and industry partners to understand challenges and adapt features
• Ensure solutions are compliant with legislative changes
• Organize workshops and user groups to incorporate customer feedback
• Identify growth opportunities and expand market share
• Champion digital transformation and process improvements
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity
