We are working with a Cross-Border Payments Start-up who are changing the way institutions manage their FX exposure globally. They are looking for a Product Manager with a strong background and experience in payments who is going to help them scale their product offering.

You'll work with various internal and external stakeholders to develop a best in class product offering, managing the whole product lifecycle from ideation to delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Market analysis and research to understand the current payments market, from legacy payments to real time & future payments rails and best in class APIs and platforms.
  • Gathering, Understanding and documenting customer/client needs
  • Developing and delivering the payments product roadmap
  • Leading the E2E product lifecycle for their APIs and Orchestration layer, from owning and developing the backlog to tracking the products performance and optimising the solution.
  • Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, especially the commercial team to support with running product demos and contributing to sales collateral.

Key requirements:

  • At least 4-6 years’ experience in cross-border payments, ideally having worked in a fast paced dynamic startup/scaleup environment (Experience owning and building 0-1 products is very desirable!)
  • Experienced in leading the end-to-end product development life cycle from discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition and value management
  • Confident communicator, experienced working with everything up to Snr Stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Proven experience working with payment platforms and payment APIs
  • Deep understanding of the major payment protocols, e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, IACH and major real-time payment rails

This role is a Hybrid role in central London
