We are investing over £8m per annum in our market-leading, award-winning solutions that support our customers to deliver better services more effectively.

We're particularly looking for candidates with experience designing and delivering mobile app solutions to support repairs, property surveys, servicing, inspections, and housing management. This is a critical part of our growing portfolio, and increasing market take-up means we need to expand our team in this area.

You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on exceeding customer expectations, maximizing intellectual property, and revolutionizing the sector!

From market assessment through to requirements decomposition, support of build, and final test verification, you'll ensure that the NEC Housing and Go-Mobile platform supports our customers to meet their challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out market research to understand legislative, regulatory, competitive, economic landscape, as well as changing market drivers for your business process areas.
• Be part of the team with expertise in mobile working, able to handle queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customers through co-design workshops, User Group sessions, and meetings to understand sector trends and customer requirements.
• Define customer business needs and objectives to ensure NEC Housing products and solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Define requirements, user stories, and wireframes for new product developments, working closely with development and QA teams.
• Work with Technical Authors to produce/review product documentation.
• Build business cases to analyze market uptake, pricing, and margins.
• Identify third-party requirements and liaise with suppliers, systems integrators, or other organizations.
• Define the product roadmap.
• Assist Pre-Sales/Sales teams with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.
• Produce and deliver presentations for customers and internal audiences.
• Support product launch activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Social Housing, as a customer or software solution provider.
• Experience with NEC Housing and Go-Mobile platforms in social housing.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, methodologies, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile development.
• Experience with housing management systems or related software.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Technical understanding of relational databases and SQL is beneficial.
• Ability to build relationships and understand client perspectives.
• Effective time management and resource allocation.
• Full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel.
• Experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management.
• Experience designing digital solutions for social housing, including mobile apps and web platforms.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, JIRA.
