Job summary

HMRC is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the Inbound Services team within the CDPO. You will shape the product vision, manage a multidisciplinary delivery ecosystem, and drive enhancements across digital communication channels.

You will collaborate with researchers, designers and stakeholders to deliver accessible, user-centred services while aligning with government digital strategies and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing digital products or services.
• Ability to use research to gain insights into problems.
• Ability to measure and track success of a project or change.
• Experience prioritising work based on value and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
• Experience leading medium to large-scale projects and building relationships with internal and supplier stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance HMRC's inbound communication services.
• Define scope of key features and enhancements.
• Engage stakeholders to align product vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the department and with suppliers.
• Gather user insights and feedback to iterate and improve services.
• Work with researchers to shape usability and accessibility tests.
• Maintain a backlog of user stories aligned with product goals.
• Assess options and high-level business cases for product development.
• Collaborate with designers and researchers to meet accessibility standards.
• Participate in the Product Manager Community and related initiatives.
