Job description

We’re working with an industry-leading homeware brand that’s looking for an experienced Product Brand Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading homeware brand where product is at the heart of everything you do. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact, take ownership of key product marketing activity and work collaboratively across the business to bring products to life.

If you’re a hands-on Product Brand Manager who enjoys getting under the skin of a product, shaping its story and seeing your work translate into commercial results, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who lives and breathes product marketing, with extensive experience taking ownership of products and bringing them to life through compelling storytelling, creative content and commercially focused marketing.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how products are positioned, presented and marketed across multiple consumer touchpoints, from new product development and packaging through to e-commerce listings, photoshoots and digital campaigns.

Please note: this role is suited to Product Brand Managers with extensive product ownership experience, rather than general brand marketers.

What you'll be doing

Product Marketing & Storytelling

  • Own the positioning and messaging of products, turning technical features into engaging, benefit-led consumer stories.
  • Write compelling product copy and descriptions that clearly communicate product benefits and give consumers a reason to buy.
  • Develop messaging frameworks for new product launches, ensuring consistency across packaging, online listings and wider marketing materials.
  • Identify what makes each product different and bring that to life through creative storytelling.

E-commerce & Product Assets

  • Lead the development of high-quality product listing assets across online marketplaces, including Amazon.
  • Write SEO-led product descriptions and develop engaging content that improves product visibility and conversion.
  • Brief and manage product photoshoots, video content and creative assets, ensuring products are presented in the most compelling way.
  • Understand what makes an effective online product page, from imagery and copy through to the overall customer experience.

Packaging, Artwork & NPD

  • Work closely with Product Development and Design on new product positioning, packaging and artwork.
  • Brief and manage packaging artwork, ensuring the product story and key benefits translate effectively onto pack.
  • Support NPD from initial concept through to commercial launch, ensuring all marketing elements are in place.
  • Make sure products are visually appealing, clearly differentiated and stand out to shoppers.

Retail & Brand Marketing

  • Develop content and marketing materials that work across both online and physical retail environments.
  • Work closely with Sales to support retailer presentations, customer marketing and shopper activity.
  • Lead go-to-market activity for new product launches, developing the assets and messaging needed to support distribution and sales.
  • Support the development of wider brand awareness activity, including digital campaigns, social, influencers and external creative agencies.

What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have experience in a product-led consumer goods or FMCG environment, with a genuine passion for understanding products and how to market them effectively.

We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:

  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to turn product features into clear, engaging consumer benefits.
  • Hands-on experience developing product listings and assets for online marketplaces such as Amazon.
  • Direct experience briefing packaging artwork and working on packaging as part of NPD.
  • Experience marketing physical consumer products across both e-commerce and bricks-and-mortar retail.
  • A creative eye and experience briefing and evaluating photography, video and wider marketing content.
  • An understanding of shopper behaviour, product positioning and what makes products stand out in a competitive retail environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with Sales, Product Development and E-commerce teams.

Experience within home, homewares, home fashion or a similar product category would be particularly beneficial, although we're more interested in the relevance of your product marketing experience than having worked in one specific category.
