Job description

Our prestigious client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive sales of their Finishing Equipment internationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, planning, and launching new solutions to the market while developing sales support tools for distributor channels.

Essential experience includes knowledge of the digital printing & packaging sector, working with automated and connected solutions, and innovative product development skills.

Role responsibilities:

  1. Project Development: Collaborate with HQ or external parties to introduce new product solutions based on market and customer knowledge.
  2. Marketing Collaboration: Use product knowledge to demonstrate value and strengthen market position.
  3. Technical Collaboration: Work with engineers to develop optimal solutions.
  4. Business Planning: Develop plans supporting innovative solutions considering market, competition, pricing, and commercial opportunities.
  5. Pre-launch Research: Evaluate market competition and position products for distributor and end-user appeal.
  6. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop launch support tools and assets for marketing and sales teams.
  7. Launch Events: Organize virtual and physical events to introduce new systems.
  8. Training: Ensure showroom and sales teams are well-trained on solutions.
  9. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product life cycle and manage end-of-life models or transitions.
  10. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of print & digital packaging industry hardware and software, especially finishing equipment like die-cutting technology.
  11. Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify technical information, and willingness for high levels of international travel.
