Job summary

Fortress Interlocks, Wolverhampton-based and part of Halma plc, is seeking a senior product leader to own the Remlive safety portfolio (PoVI and AVT) across its full lifecycle, from development to optimisation.

You will translate technical and regulatory standards into winning product requirements, run Voice of Customer programs, and own the 3-year roadmap while driving cross‑functional collaboration and market execution through webinars, tradeshows and partner training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management, Technical Marketing or Technical Sales within a technical B2B environment.
• Practical understanding of low‑voltage electrical systems, isolation procedures, LOTO/LOTOTO and voltage indication/testing.
• Working knowledge of UL 1436, NFPA 70E, IEC 61010, IEC 61243‑5, EN 50110 or IEC 61508 / SIL.
• Proven product lifecycle experience — from requirements and business case through certification, launch and optimisation.
• Experience managing distribution channels and multiple routes to market globally.
• Strong communication skills – able to translate complex technical and regulatory content for commercial audiences.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the Remlive portfolio (PoVI + AVT) across the full lifecycle—development, launch, growth and optimisation.
• Take the AVT to market—product requirements, business case, competitive positioning, and go-to-market plan.
• Translate standards into winning product requirements (UL 1436/NFPA 70E/IEC 61010/IEC 61243‑5/EN 50110/IEC 61508).
• Run Voice of Customer with end users, channel partners and industry stakeholders across regions.
• Own the 3‑year electrical safety product roadmap aligned to Fortress and Halma priorities.
• Own competitive intelligence—battlecards and clear positioning.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Safety Services, Application & Technical Support, Marketing and Sales.
• Support commercial growth through webinars, tradeshows, site visits and partner training.

The Role

You will take full ownership of our Remlive electrical safety portfolio, including the Remlive Presence of Voltage Indicator (PoVI) and the Remlive AVT (Absence of Voltage Tester), a UL 1436‑compliant, SIL3 functionally safe product engineered to integrate directly with machinery safety systems.

• Own the Remlive portfolio (PoVI + AVT) across the full lifecycle — development, launch, growth and optimisation.
• Take the AVT to market — product requirements, business case, competitive positioning, and go‑to‑market plan.
• Familiarity with standards such as UL 1436, NFPA 70E, IEC 61010, IEC 61243‑5, EN 50110, IEC 61508 / SIL and translate them into winning product requirements.
• Run structured Voice of Customer with end users, channel partners and industry stakeholders across every region.
• Own the 3‑year electrical safety product roadmap, aligned to Fortress and Halma strategic priorities.
• Own competitive intelligence — grow and understand the broader market with battlecards and clear positioning.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Safety Services, Application & Technical Support, Marketing and Sales.
• Support commercial growth through webinars, tradeshows, site visits and partner training.

What We're Looking For (Must Haves)

• 5+ years in Product Management, Technical Marketing or Technical Sales within a technical B2B, physical/engineered product environment – ideally electrical safety, power distribution, industrial controls, LV switchgear, industrial automation or similar.
• Practical understanding of low‑voltage electrical systems, isolation procedures, LOTO/LOTOTO and voltage indication/testing in industrial maintenance.
• Working knowledge of UL 1436, NFPA 70E, IEC 61010, IEC 61243‑5, EN 50110 or functional safety (IEC 61508 / SIL).
• Proven product lifecycle experience — from requirements and business case through certification, launch and commercial optimisation.
• Experience managing distribution channels and multiple routes to market globally.
• Strong communication skills – able to translate complex technical and regulatory content for commercial audiences.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or related) preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• UL certification experience and working with NRTLs.
• Deeper functional safety knowledge (SIL, safety PLCs, ProfiSafe/CIP Safety).
• Familiarity with the machinery safety or industrial interlocking market.
