Job summary

ITV plc is seeking a technically adept Product Manager to help power ITVX’s data and AI foundation. You will bridge analytics with product delivery, translating complex data flows into reliable data products for partnerships and viewer experiences.

You will collaborate with data engineers and scientists to productionize models and ensure governance, while turning requirements into actionable user stories for agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Analytical background in data analytics or STEM field.
• Experience in data analytics, software engineering, or technical graduate roles.
• Interest in transitioning into Product Management with cloud data/AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud data architecture and AI capabilities in partnership with Big Data Engineering.
• Standardise financial and subscription data flows for reporting and AI tools.
• Work with Data Science to productionize ML models into data pipelines.
• Translate requirements and data schemas into user stories and backlogs.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and platform teams to ensure data quality and governance.
• Balance analytical depth with pragmatic delivery.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Product, Viewer Data & Growth, you will work in a high-impact technical product group whose mission is to power ITVX’s enterprise data and AI foundation. You will bridge analytical rigour with product delivery, helping transform complex data flows across Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/BigQuery), Data Science models, and subscription signals into reliable, production-ready data products that support major commercial partnerships and next-generation viewer experiences.

Responsibilities

To drive our cloud data architecture, commercial compliance, and AI capabilities by:

• Working closely with Big Data Engineering to identify, track, and execute GCP cost-optimisation opportunities across data storage and BigQuery compute pipelines.
• Helping standardise core financial and subscription data flows, turning complex multi-partner billing signals into clean, structured data models for executive reporting and internal AI tools.
• Partnering with Data Science to help productionize Viewer Machine Learning models (such as household composition and co-viewing) from experimental scripts into live batch and API pipelines.
• Translating technical requirements and data schemas into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and well-prioritised agile backlogs.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, data analysts, and platform teams to validate data accuracy, monitor pipeline health, and maintain high governance standards.
• Bringing a curious, problem-solving mindset to complex technical challenges, balancing analytical depth with pragmatic delivery execution.

Skills required

• To hit the ground running, you will have a strong analytical or quantitative background (such as a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience).
• 1+ year of experience in a data analytics, software engineering, or technical graduate role looking to transition into Product Management, or you are an early-career PM with a strong technical appetite eager to specialise in deep cloud data and AI.
