Job summary

Qualifications

• Analytical or quantitative background required (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience).
• 1+ year of experience in a data analytics, software engineering, or technical graduate role looking to transition into Product Management, or an early-career PM with a strong technical appetite.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud data architecture with the team, focusing on cost-optimisation opportunities across data storage and BigQuery compute pipelines.
• Standardise core financial and subscription data flows to create clean data models for exec reporting and AI tools.
• Collaborate with Data Science to productionize Viewer ML models into live batch and API pipelines.
• Translate technical requirements and data schemas into structured user stories and prioritised backlogs.
• Collaborate with engineers, analytics, and platform teams to validate data accuracy and maintain governance.
• Balance analytical depth with pragmatic delivery to tackle complex technical challenges.

Location: White City, London

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Pattern: Hybrid 1-2 days on site

Salary range: £45,000 – £52,000

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Product, Viewer Data & Growth, you will work in a high-impact technical product group whose mission is to power ITVX’s enterprise data and AI foundation. You will bridge analytical rigour with product delivery, helping transform complex data flows across Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/BigQuery), Data Science models, and subscription signals into reliable, production-ready data products that support major commercial partnerships and next-generation viewer experiences.

Responsibilities

To drive our cloud data architecture, commercial compliance, and AI capabilities by:

• Working closely with Big Data Engineering to identify, track, and execute GCP cost-optimisation opportunities across data storage and BigQuery compute pipelines.
• Helping standardise core financial and subscription data flows, turning complex multi-partner billing signals into clean, structured data models for executive reporting and internal AI tools.
• Partnering with Data Science to help productionize Viewer Machine Learning models (such as household composition and co-viewing) from experimental scripts into live batch and API pipelines.
• Translating technical requirements and data schemas into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and well-prioritised agile backlogs.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, data analysts, and platform teams to validate data accuracy, monitor pipeline health, and maintain high governance standards.
• Bringing a curious, problem-solving mindset to complex technical challenges, balancing analytical depth with pragmatic delivery execution.

Skills required
