As a Product Manager in the Customer Lists team, you’ll own the strategy and delivery of features that help customers build their baskets faster and more intuitively. This includes Favourites, Previously Bought, Usuals, Last Order, and our new feature, Custom Lists. These are all critical components of the Tesco App experience.

These features are central to helping customers shop smarter, save time, and feel understood. You’ll work across disciplines to create data-driven, personalised experiences that make Tesco the easiest place to shop online.

Responsibilities
  • Define and own the App product roadmap for Customer Lists, aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Drive innovation in how we surface relevant products and help customers build their baskets with ease.
  • Use customer insights, behavioural data, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, analytics, and commercial teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Write clear, concise user stories and manage the product backlog.
  • Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives with your squad.
  • Ensure smooth delivery and high-quality releases through rigorous testing and stakeholder alignment.
Qualifications
  • Experience building and optimising mobile app products at scale.
  • Proven ability to quickly ramp up and independently lead discovery sessions from the outset.
  • An understanding of iOS and Android platforms, mobile UX patterns, and app analytics.
  • Experience working with personalisation, recommendations, or customer data is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A data-informed mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and business impact.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and writing effective user stories.
  • A passion for solving real customer problems and delivering elegant solutions.
  • Familiarity with user research, A/B testing, and design thinking principles.
