Description

As a Product Manager at Kinetic, you will be a strategic leader, responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our software solutions. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring that our products not only meet customer needs but also position Kinetic as a market leader. You will leverage deep market insights, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to lead the product lifecycle from ideation to execution. Working closely with executive leadership, you will influence decision-making, align stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact solutions that drive business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead market intelligence and competitive analysis by conducting in-depth research to identify emerging trends, assess market needs, and maintain a strong competitive positioning.
  • Own and drive the product roadmap by defining priorities and strategic initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders, influencing and collaborating with senior leadership, investors, and key stakeholders to secure buy-in and drive alignment across departments.
  • Oversee full product lifecycle management, guiding the development and execution of product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring excellence in delivery.
  • Champion a data-driven approach by leveraging analytics, KPIs, and customer insights to inform decision-making and continuously refine product strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, partnering with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive innovation, remove roadblocks, and ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
  • Optimise go-to-market strategies by collaborating with marketing and commercial teams to ensure product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies maximize adoption and impact.
  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability by developing and refining internal processes to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and ensure high-quality execution of product initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation by staying ahead of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and customer expectations to proactively shape the future of Kinetic’s product offerings.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Commercial Product Strategy: Proven ability to define and execute product strategies that drive revenue growth and market differentiation.
  • Agile & Lean Execution: Strong experience leading Agile teams, prioritising initiatives based on commercial impact, and ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Technical & Business Acumen: Understanding of software development, APIs, and cloud technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Skilled in influencing C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to align product vision with commercial goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in leveraging analytics and customer insights to optimise product performance and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Market & Customer Insight: Deep understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform product innovation and market positioning.
  • Strong Negotiation & Communication: Ability to articulate product value, build strategic partnerships, and drive alignment across teams
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Familiarity with Higher Education or similar industry verticals.
  • Experience working with Product Management tools
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.
