Product Manager (CI) – Cochlear Implants - UK, Ireland & South Africa

Location: UK Addlestone (Office-based)

Your Profile:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role within the hearing implant sector? To succeed in this role, you’ll be someone who:

  1. Has a can-do mindset with the ability to think creatively and work collaboratively in a global environment.
  2. Brings proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within medical devices or healthcare.
  3. Can confidently lead multiple projects and manage stakeholders across various teams.
  4. Possesses strong commercial acumen and a talent for analyzing market opportunities.
  5. Communicates effectively, whether delivering presentations, engaging with customers, or working with internal teams.
  6. Is skilled in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and (ideally) systems like Salesforce or ERP.
  7. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, audiology, life sciences, or a related field.
  8. Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus!).

Your Responsibilities:
In this exciting and impactful role, you’ll be at the heart of driving innovation and growth for Cochlear’s Cochlear Implant portfolio. Here’s what you’ll do:

Shaping Strategy

  1. Support the development and execution of a strategic roadmap for the CI product portfolio.
  2. Provide insights and feedback to global teams on early product development, influencing future innovations.
  3. Conduct market analysis and competitor research to differentiate products and drive growth.
  4. Collaborate with global and regional teams to launch cutting-edge products and services.

Driving Product Management
  1. Manage the introduction of new CI products, including market-entry strategies and pricing.
  2. Lead local pilot projects and controlled market releases, ensuring a seamless rollout.
  3. Act as the local subject matter expert for CI products and accessories, providing technical and clinical support.
  4. Ensure product information, training, and messaging are always up-to-date and impactful.

Partnering with Sales & Customers
  1. Collaborate with sales teams to create and deliver engaging product training and go-to-market materials.
  2. Support customer visits and industry events as the product expert, building trust and enthusiasm.
  3. Assist with tender submissions and create a library of product-specific responses for common questions.
  4. Remain agile, adapting strategies to meet evolving market demands.
