Job summary

Checkout.com, a leading fintech, is hiring a Product Manager to own and expand the Alternative Payment Method portfolio, with a focus on bank-based rails. You will lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering and business, aligning with merchants globally and designing API experiences for APMs.

You will collaborate with payment partners to translate insights into roadmap priorities, ensuring end-to-end delivery of new capabilities and enhanced developer experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product management experience.
• Experience working in payment methods, especially direct debit and account-to-account payment methods
• Data-driven: use data and insights to set priorities and roadmap
• Customer-first: balance future opportunities with immediate needs
• End-to-end mindset: understand all components for ongoing product success
• Leadership: collaborate across product, engineering, commercial and business teams
• Effective communicator: inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for your portfolio of APMs, including target markets, customers and aims for each APM.
• Become an expert in your payment methods and work with partners to drive merchant value.
• Design the API and integration for each APM to deliver a consistent developer experience.
• Build partnerships with business, product and technology stakeholders to generate momentum.
• Align roadmaps and delivery with other product and engineering leaders.
• Gain deep understanding of Checkout.com's customers and business.
• Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com's operating principles.
