Job description

The Product Manager will shape the product vision to drive business outcomes, balancing priorities influenced by customer needs, product health, and industry trends.

The mission is to collaborate closely with many disciplines across the business to design and deliver desirable resilient solutions to the market.

The role is the embodiment of All in for the customer;

Key responsibilities:

  1. Management of product(s) with a high level of autonomy that leads to the delivery of significant measurable value.
  2. Creation and clear communication of the strategic vision of the product with defined OKRs.
  3. Collaborate closely with partners aligning business, product, and technical priorities to set the product direction, promote the product roadmap, and continually improve.
  4. Demonstrate a good understanding of user experience (UX) design and research methods.
  5. Demonstrate a good level of technical understanding within your product and understand how your product interacts with all areas of the business.
  6. Manage the backlog and contribute to any overall prioritization process.
  7. Create business cases or lean canvas as required that include market analysis, costs, and business/user benefit.
  8. Ensure Product measures of success are defined, tracked, and communicated.
  9. Apply lean practices while delivering value through iterative development i.e. Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  10. Support the teams to successfully adopt DevOps, supporting in the triage and resolution of major incidents where required and collaborating with Engineering and Technical Programme Management to ensure operational success.
  11. Drive launch readiness collaborating closely with all parties to ensure adoption.
  12. Pro-actively identify and apply insight from customer research, data analytics, market, and competitor analysis to ensure best in class.
  13. Use and generate high value from product optimization, experimentation techniques, and user science tools to validate ideas and influence the products.
  14. Operate as a mentor and coach to Associate Product Managers and actively contribute to the wider Product culture acting as a Product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  15. Line Manager to XX ensuring that the functions of these positions are properly and effectively being executed, encouraging collaborative 360 feedback interactions from the community, stakeholders, and team.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  1. Product Management, experienced in building and delivering high value products through defining vision, roadmap, successful product execution, and launches, delivering immense value to the business.
  2. Understanding of Retail Domain and In-store experience, tools, and technologies.
  3. Experience in using tools like Jira, Confluence, Monday, etc. for product management and team management.
  4. Good to understand system designs, SDLC, DevOps, and technology around Microservices architecture, Domain driven design, etc.
  5. Good to understand cloud technologies especially Azure and relevant technologies around the same.
