Qualifications

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced product manager to help take My Money Matters to its next stage of growth. You will work alongside a nascent team to define the product roadmap and execute its delivery. You will be performing rigorous user research and analysis to generate and validate the best ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Product & Marketing Director, your main responsibilities in this role include:

  • Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to post-launch success.
  • Defining and managing the delivery of the product and technical roadmaps.
  • Balancing the roadmap with both functional and non-functional/technical initiatives by making prioritisation calls.
  • Discovering underlying customer problems through user research and translating them into validated features for implementation. This will involve working with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
  • Partnering closely with designers and business analysts to design solutions to customer pain points. Working closely with the Director of Product and other leaders to define the long-term product strategy of My Money Matters. Collaborating with engineering leaders to manage high-quality delivery sprint to sprint.
  • Defining success metrics, owning PRDs, wireframing and continuously making data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends in order to inform product strategy.
  • Continuous optimising ways of working in a growing and fast-paced scale-up. Continuously looking for better ways to measure and learn.
  • Running the go-to-market playbook as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products from 0-1 and moving metrics as a product manager or product owner.
  • Experience working in an agile cross-functional team alongside engineering, design, data and marketing team members.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and user research methodologies.
  • Mobile app experience is crucial.
  • B2B, SaaS and/or fintech experience is crucial.
  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up is a plus.
  • Domain knowledge of financial wellbeing is a plus.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage complex projects and problems.
  • Proven experience of working alongside engineering managers and/or leads to drive and manage delivery sprint to sprint.

A bit about you

  • At least 3 years’ experience in product management. At least 5 years’ overall professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
