Job Title: Product Manager - Lighting

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Product Manager with a passion for lighting technology? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic thinker to oversee the development, management, and optimisation of our lighting product portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a robust product strategy aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
2. Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap to ensure timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
3. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
4. Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications and ensure successful execution.
5. Analyse market trends, customer demands, and emerging lighting technologies (e.g., LED, smart lighting, IoT integration).
6. Define and articulate the unique value proposition and positioning for each product.
7. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, and R&D teams.
8. Provide clear communication on product updates and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Monitor product performance through key metrics such as revenue, profitability, and market share.
10. Identify opportunities for product improvements or new offerings based on data-driven insights.
11. Prepare regular reports with strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
12. Undertake regular trips to the Far East to review lighting-related projects and collaborate with suppliers.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the lighting or electronics industry.
Strong understanding of lighting technologies, including LED, smart lighting, and IoT integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Previous experience working with lighting suppliers in the Far East.

Desirable:
Degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
