Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings—plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can’t solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we’re looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

We’re hiring right now for a Product Manager – Multi Source Air Content! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.

How you’ll make an impact:

What does a great Product Manager do? Supporting an Agile Product Delivery Customer Centric approach in defining, building, and releasing a continuous flow of value and services to the customer.

Guiding the work through Lean product management and developing and executing on the product vision and roadmap, the Product Manager identifies customer needs to articulate value propositions that will drive the optimum return on investment for their product.

The Product Manager will be versed in multi-source technology, specifically content that enables end-to-end capabilities through API and agency point of sale. The Product Manager influences the vision and direction to the delivery teams around value pursuit, feature prioritisation and feature-level acceptance criteria. The Product Manager will apply analytics and quantitative, data-driven decision-making models to inform business decisions coupled with the ability to think creatively about constraints. Responsible for entire product lifecycle including sunsetting of products.

This role requires extensive collaboration with other product managers to ensure integration of content and prioritisation across many initiatives.

Your role in action:

  • Researching and collaborating to understand and document customer needs and validate solutions.
  • Translating high-level market requirements into epic level features, authoring acceptance criteria, and providing product acceptance to ensure market needs are met, using tools such as JIRA.

Could this be you?
  • Knowledge and implementation of product management and product owner techniques, tools & principles.
  • Ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for alignment with Product strategy.
  • Communicate effectively on the purpose and vision of the product roadmap to the wider delivery team and their role in delivering or contributing to the business outcomes.
