Position Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the Wetstock Management product functionality, features, interfaces and ongoing development, executing the product introduction strategy, and determining end-of-life for legacy platforms. This role will work closely with the Wetstock Management business unit Leadership Team to ensure that the goals of the global business plan are met.

Management Qualities:

Management qualities are essential for this role. This is an outward facing role with significant customer contact including routine calls and meetings. There is, however, no direct team leadership associated with this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as an influential leader, assisting executives in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.
  2. Lead and motivate with a clear understanding of market requirements and the challenges of maintaining a consistent strategy.
  3. Align goals and objectives with corporate policies and business objectives to maximize the overall customer experience.
  4. Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) market research; correlate VOC output to define product specifications.
  5. Identify product opportunities for future consideration and prioritize them for development, identify partnership and/or acquisition targets.
  6. Investigate market opportunities, assess technology, and develop strategies for the product offering based on customer needs, competition, and market trends.
  7. Establish promotional plans for all products including collateral, advertising, and trade shows.
  8. Ensure professionalism and customer satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  9. Engage in special assignments as required.
  10. Ensure timely delivery of products with the required functionality.
  11. Work with Engineering to ensure realistic effort estimates against each product request form (PRF).
  12. Chair regular Program Incremental (PI) meetings with Leadership Team to sign off on priorities.
  13. Provide regular product roadmap updates to the Leadership Team.
  14. Contribute to and communicate the DFS vision and culture.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in a business-related discipline preferred.

Experience:

  • Understanding of Wetstock Management or the petroleum/fuel industry is advantageous.
  • Advanced experience in product management.
  • Experience working in a global environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
  • Flexible approach.
  • Full driving license.

Work arrangement: Onsite

Salary Range: To be determined based on factors including experience, education, location, and skills.
