We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong technical and commercial acumen in the heavy industry lighting sector.

About The Role

As a Product Manager specialising in the engineering, design, and manufacturing lighting arena, you will play a crucial role in translating customer needs into actionable product roadmaps that drive adoption and commercial success. Collaborating across our four strategic business units, you will integrate engineering, manufacturing, and in-house design services to ensure our technical specifications across our product ranges deliver operational advantage and long-term viability to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dynamic product roadmaps that align with customer requirements, market needs, and regulatory standards.

  • Apply business principles using product methodologies to validate and iterate product features.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify market differentiators in the lighting sector.
  • Lead workshops with business development and product teams to capture critical requirements for products.
  • Act as a bridge between business development and product teams, ensuring seamless integration of customer feedback into technical development.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and long-term sustainment plans tailored to our lighting solutions.
  • Track and report on product performance metrics, ensuring continuous optimization and operational readiness.

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong technical and commercial acumen in the heavy industry lighting sector. You should have:

Experience in Product Management, Engineering, Trades, Business Development, or Project Management.

  • Experience working with lighting systems, connections, mechanisms, and poles.
  • Strong ability to translate customer needs into technical specifications and product roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Familiarity with market regulations and safety standards relevant to electrical enclosures and lighting solutions.
  • Exceptional performance and reliability in challenging environments.

Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or manufacturing and or a trades background, or a related field.

  • Knowledge and working experience across technical solutions in lighting.
  • Experience in electrical solutions and systems technology is a plus.
  • Exposure to heavy industry clients and markets to support product delivery
