Job description

Alliance Automotive Group is a leading distributor of light and commercial vehicle parts to the independent aftermarket in France, Germany, and the UK. We serve independent repairers, body shops, auto centres, fast fit companies, and end consumers through a network of logistics platforms and local distributors, including subsidiaries and independent affiliates.

The Position

We have a vacancy for a Product Manager within our busy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Product Groups under their control, including lifecycle management, analysis, and insights into requirements in the automotive aftermarket. This role involves full management of the product groups from new product introduction to end-of-life exit.

We offer a competitive salary. The successful candidate should ideally have previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the complete product range lifecycle from new product introduction to end-of-life removal.
  2. Maintain the live product file on ERP systems.
  3. Catalogue products (Make and Model index) via aftermarket solutions and support the wider cataloguing functions.
  4. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product launches.
  5. Conduct supplier benchmark analysis including pricing and cross-referencing.
  6. Collaborate with suppliers and technical teams to produce and manage product datasheets, technical data, and notes.
  7. Work with Marketing and Sales teams to promote brand awareness.
  8. Handle basic technical queries.
Essential Requirements
  1. Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  2. Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket is preferable.
  3. High level of commercial awareness.
  4. Team player.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Technical knowledge of vehicle components.
