Duties

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PRODUCT MANAGER to join our Services and Specialties PMM Team.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager Services and Specialties, you will be responsible for developing the Product Portfolio to maximize profit and achieve targets, through direct lead product management and shadow accountability within the business.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing performance against annual targets and budgets.
  • Take corrective actions as needed to meet targets.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for purchase and distribution agreements and pricing.
  • Control selling prices to maximize gross margins, maintaining pricing tools and systems.
  • Establish, monitor, and update product selling schedules.
  • Manage interactions with suppliers and colleagues to improve service levels and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate with supply chain planners on forecasts and stock levels.
  • Collaborate with sales on product availability, forecasting, and allocation.
  • Identify aged stock, take appropriate actions, and review inventory data.
  • Work with Marketing and Digital teams to maximize added value options.
  • Support external sales personnel with technical advice and participate in customer meetings.
  • Improve margins through cost management and market-driven pricing initiatives.
  • Identify and recommend new suppliers and products, and implement action plans.
  • Launch new products effectively and ensure relevant training.
  • Gather and present market information, including monthly performance reports.
We Are Looking For
  • A strong commercial operator with a proven track record in delivering growth.
  • Good numeracy and statistical skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel and familiarity with tools like Salesforce and Tableau is beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to act with candor and urgency.
  • Flexibility to handle varying tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A customer-focused attitude, excellent service skills, and being a good team player.
