The Job

Red Engine are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our Digital Gaming squad. You will be responsible for delivering the product roadmap, managing the backlog, and ensuring developments align with both customer needs and business objectives. The gaming products are built using the Unity game engine by our in-house team and you'll also work closely with tech team, internal stakeholders, and end users to ensure a high-quality and robust product for both our brands. The ultimate goal is for you to create products people love.

Keyresponsibilities will include:

  • O wning the product backlog and support the team as they build out the
    product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborating with the scrum team to write detailed user stories and tickets.
  • Leading the
    regular scrum ceremonies.
  • Liaising with
    stakeholders to build backlogs and roadmaps that work not just for
    stakeholders but keep the customer experience front and centre.
  • Listening,
    influencing, challenging, building trust and consensus from both your team and
    the stakeholders.
  • Delivering regular reporting on the health of the product.
  • Using data to inform prioritisation and evaluate customer vs. business value.
  • Working with support teams to triage and prioritise issues.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Solid product manager experience with a software engineering focus (a plus if related to gaming)
  • Technical and/or Game development background
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex products and outcomes ( ideally in conversion)
  • Strong analytical skills, experience working with data sets with the ability to aggregate and present key insights to a range of stakeholders
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, employing iterative and data-driven methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Familiarity with the games industry, releasing globally, and performance optimisation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Able to challenge and manage stakeholder expectations while balancing priorities and release cycle
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Curious, creative thinker and problem-solving mindset
