Job Description
Product Manager - Customer
Your team:

The Sun is one of the UK's strongest brands and, like all media organisations, is adapting rapidly to a fast-moving digital world. Our website The Sun is more than a newspaper; it is an instigator, an entertainer, a cultural reference point, a finger on the pulse, and a daily relationship. The Sun product team manages several digital products across the brand, including Sun Savers, Sun Web and Mobile Apps, and the Sun Digital Newspaper.

Your role:

Working within the Sun product team, you will be responsible for our Customer products, focusing on discovering and implementing new and existing revenue streams aligned with the business strategy. You will manage multiple products, expanding our subscriber and registration reach, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to implement features and improvements based on data-driven decisions and a test-and-learn methodology.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  1. End-to-end management of products aligned with business goals and product strategy.
  2. Manage a product roadmap, presenting options to stakeholder groups to secure approval.
  3. Prioritize requests to maximize business value efficiently.
  4. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  5. Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure early understanding of requirements.
  6. Review and report on progress towards KPIs and targets, demonstrating the impact of your work.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in a portfolio or product management role.
  • Technical acumen.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines, innovate, and think creatively to meet customer needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and present data on progress.
  • Experience with running experiments to gather customer insights and inform product improvements is advantageous.

If you believe you have the skills and passion to succeed, even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We value potential and enthusiasm for learning and growth.

At News UK, we operate a hybrid working policy requiring a minimum of three days in the office weekly, fostering collaboration and innovation. Some roles may require more office days; please discuss with your recruiter for specifics.
