This job is with Masabi, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly.

Introducing Masabi

// At Masabi, we're driving the fare payment revolution, powering the journeys of millions all over the world. We build fare collection platforms that allow riders to seamlessly buy and present tickets for public transport either on their mobile phones, from a ticket machine, or even by tapping their bank card to travel.

Our Justride platform is used in over 250 locations globally, including some of the largest cities in the world. With our industry-first mobile ticketing SDK, we've partnered with large players in the transport space, including Uber, Moovit and Transit.

Your own journey is important to us too. Choosing a role here means joining a network of innovators from all walks of life; a group of passionate individuals who consistently deliver. Here, you'll find the tools you need to build the career you want. Whether you're taking the direct route or trying a new path, we'll support you no matter what.

The Role_

// We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) team and help lead the evolution of our Fares Engine, the core capability that brings transit agency fare policies to life.

This role is at the heart of Masabi's platform, translating complex agency needs into flexible, scalable solutions that balance simplicity, operational efficiency, and equity of access. You'll be focused on enabling agencies to design and deliver innovative fare strategies, from capping and concessions to zoning and distance-based pricing.

You'll work closely with engineers, product designers, and a range of internal and external stakeholders to define what we build and why, ensuring the work we do delivers meaningful outcomes for transit agencies and their riders.

Location_

// This role is available on a fully remote basis for candidates based in the UK, with the option of a hybrid model for those located in London.

What You'll Do_

  • Partner with transit agencies and internal teams to understand fare policies and translate them into platform capabilities.
  • Own the full lifecycle of your product area, from discovery and definition through to delivery, rollout, and iteration.
  • Define and communicate product behaviours using tools like user journeys, product briefs, and functional specs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure changes to fare rules support a seamless experience for both agency users and riders.
  • Work closely with engineers to explore options, validate designs, and ensure successful implementation and testing.
  • Support deployment and implementation teams to ensure real-world fit for customer needs.
  • Stay connected to customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor insights to inform product decisions and long-term roadmap thinking.
  • Bring your creativity, curiosity, and energy to a mission-led, high-growth team where your work makes a real impact.

About You_

  • You care deeply about solving problems and building inclusive, user-centred products.
  • You have experience in Product Management (or a similar role) within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • You've taken products or features from idea through to delivery and improvement.
  • You can confidently discuss software product behaviours and technical trade-offs with engineers, even if you don't get into the code.
  • You work collaboratively, building strong relationships across functions and disciplines.
  • You're a clear communicator who can adapt your style for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You thrive in environments where things aren't always clear-cut, and you're proactive in making progress amidst ambiguity.

Bonus Points_

  • Experience working on fare collection, mobility, or transit systems.
  • Worked on platforms with a mix of backend complexity and frontend usability.
  • Familiarity with account-based systems or configurable platform components.

Some of Our Benefits_

  • 25 days of holiday per year plus the option to buy another 5 days pro-rated
  • Private Healthcare via AXA, including pre-existing conditions and mental health
  • Life Insurance
  • Menopause support
  • Choice of workstation
  • Ability to work for up to 3 months per year from any country in the world (certain limitations)
  • Pension scheme
  • Training allowance of up to £1000 per year
  • £200 annual allowance for any home office need or improvement
  • Enhanced family leave pay
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Regular social gatherings with a monthly allowance for each employee
  • Fun and collaborative environment with a focus on making a difference in the world
