Position Overview

Job Title: Product Manager

You will be working within the Market Risk Information Technology team (MRIT) within TDI (Technology, Data & Innovation) on a cross-divisional initiative implementing strategic analytics and reporting (A&R) solutions for market risk, credit risk, stress testing, treasury, and finance domains. A&R is central to risk management and quantitative modeling, enabling hands-on data access and analysis using Python packages within a big data and cloud environment, along with intuitive visualization of analytical outputs. You will be part of a product team shaping the roadmap, strategy, and backlog for a wider tribe implementing the A&R solution within an agile framework, collaborating closely with solution architecture, business stakeholders, and technology teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a 1-3 year roadmap for analytics and reporting initiatives, broken down by features.
  • Prepare backlog features and stories ahead of quarterly planning in an agile cycle.
  • Hands-on exploration of analytics capabilities using Python, big data, and visualization tools like Plotly and SandDance.
  • Collaborate with product and solution architecture teams to define long-term product and technology roadmaps.
  • Communicate the roadmap across MRIT, ensuring clarity on risks, issues, and understanding.
  • Support team members' career development through goal setting, coaching, and mentoring.
Skills and Experience
  • Understanding of risk management, capital calculation, quantitative modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in data analytics/data science, preferably with Python, and willingness to learn hands-on.
  • Product management experience, including backlog and roadmap development, strategy articulation, and solution testing.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting to architecture teams, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to guide delivery teams, set goals, and manage risks and issues.
