Are you a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager with a passion for the automotive industry?

Looking for a Product Manager position with a difference? At Autosmart our products are brought to market via our Franchisees and their iconic mobile showrooms, although you could call them a shop on wheels. Our franchisees take their shop directly to the customer, demonstrating products to show the difference against the competition.

We are actively seeking a talented Product Manager to drive innovation and elevate our international product portfolio. You will help to shape the product strategy and lead on the delivery and implementation of our annual product plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet market demands and industry standards delivering target profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs. Utilize insights to drive product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product integration, effective launches, and optimal market positioning.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including pricing strategies, product enhancements, and discontinuations.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of competitor products and market dynamics, providing recommendations for maintaining a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in an automotive/manufacturing or a similar B2B environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in product and competitor data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and influence networks.
  • Technical background or familiarity with automotive products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
