Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division seeks an experienced professional to manage the marketing of ABB's ELIP Cable Protection, Adaptaflex and Kopex offerings. You will lead lifecycle management, conduct market intelligence, and identify growth opportunities to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.

The role reports to Portfolio Manager EMEA - Installation Products and involves defining offerings, setting roadmaps, and driving go-to-market strategies across targeted segments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical installation industry, preferably in the cable protection, cable management field.
• Highly skilled in wire harnessing, cable protection and/or electrical wiring systems.
• Passionate about new product development and market expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the offer lifecycle management and analyze current offers to maximize profitability.
• Define targets, monitor costs, and input to operations functions to maximize competitiveness.
• Manage ABB's ELIP Cable Protection, Adaptaflex and Kopex offerings throughout their lifecycle.
• Own technical and market specification and plan roadmaps for sustainable growth.
• Support business results by overseeing development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

Job description

Leading the offer lifecycle management process, analysing current offers, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and making decisions on offer obsolescence and end-of-life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met to maximize their profitability.

Setting targets, monitoring offering costs and giving input to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability.

You have 5 or more years of experience in electrical installation industry, preferably in the cable protection, cable management field working as product manager, technical manager, service manager with Adaptaflex, Kopex's alilke products.

You are highly skilled in with wire harnessing, cable protection and or electrical wiring systems and the Industrial and Electrical installation market.

You are passionate about new product development and market expansion.

Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar in electrical installation areas.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB's ELIP Cable Protection, Adaptaflex and Kopex, offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and business line strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: Office based

Leading the market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in Adaptaflex and Kopex's portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities.

Owning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following up on portfolio performance.

The Division's products are engineered to provide ease of installation and perform in demanding and harsh conditions, helping to ensure safety and continuous operation for utilities, businesses and people around the world. The Commercial Essentials product segment includes electrical junction boxes, commercial fittings, strut and cable tray metal framing systems for commercial and residential construction.
