ABB is seeking a senior Electrical Design leader to drive the electrical product development portfolio across the EMEA region. You will define technical strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure robust design governance and testing readiness.

You will oversee the Electrical and Medium Voltage Lab operations, build technology roadmaps, and collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Operations and Quality to deliver innovative solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical product or system development.
• Strong technical knowledge of product and system architecture, insulation coordination, electrical stress analysis, thermal performance and EMC.
• Experience leading engineering teams across multiple locations and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IEC, EN, UL, CSA, IEEE and other standards and certification requirements.
• Experience with electrical testing, validation, type-test prep, failure analysis and design verification.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal.

• Serve as senior technical authority for electrical engineering technologies across the region.
