Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets

This strategic role combines market analysis, VOC, product development, and cross-functional collaboration/stakeholder management to drive product success on a global scale.

This role is based in EMEA, but supports all markets. They will support Engine connectors, and potentially some DMC-M initially. This person will be a key member of the team, with aspirations for the future of being a product leader.

Your new role:

Strategic Planning & Vision

  • Develop and execute comprehensive global product strategies aligned with business objectives for 987/983, HP roadmap, and market backed
  • Conduct market and VOC research and competitive analysis across different geographical regions, highlighting key areas to win
  • Define product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
  • Establish pricing strategies considering regional market dynamics and competitive landscapes

Product Development & Management

  • Create a vision and build cross-functional support at each stage of product development lifecycle – NPD, NPI, Mature, Pivot, Exit down to PN level.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to ensure product specifications meet needs, and will define the future
  • Manage product portfolios and make strategic decisions about product continuation, enhancement, or discontinuation
  • Oversee product launches and drive margin improvements

Market Analysis & Customer Insights

  • Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Conduct voice-of-customer research across different regions and cultures
  • Monitor product performance metrics and KPIs across all markets
  • Identify new market opportunities and assess market potential
  • Support growth products in region (ie DMC-M, etc) even if not in their own product offering. Be a local product expert, and champion for growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and regional teams to ensure consistent product messaging
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams, co-ordinate response to escalation, feed demand inputs, build/buy plans
  • Strong financial view & teamwork to track progress/actions
What your background should look like:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5-8 years of product management experience with demonstrated global exposure
  • Previous experience managing products across multiple international markets
  • Track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in product management tools and examples of applications
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
  • Understanding of global supply chain and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements across different markets
