Job summary

Smartodds in North London is seeking a Product Manager to own software areas, gather requirements, prioritise roadmap and handover to clients.

You will work across projects with clients, oversee delivery, run stand-ups, coordinate with stakeholders, and balance tech debt with business needs in a fast-paced sports analytics environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of product management experience in software/tech.
• Knowledge of Kanban, Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong project management with ability to prioritise multiple items by urgency and impact.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and documentation for a given product area.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to own the area roadmap and contribute to the overall Smartodds roadmap.
• Communicate delivery timelines to internal and external stakeholders.
• Define project scope, balance tech debt with business needs.
• Schedule and run project meetings (stand ups, release meetings, retrospectives).
• Ensure smooth delivery of releases with clients and support teams through UAT and training.

About the role

AsProduct Manager, youwill take ownership of areas of software within Smartodds architecture,from requirements gathering, prioritisation,roadmap,and client handover.

Working across multiple projects with different clients and end users,youwilloversee and contribute to product delivery within the Smartodds project framework.

Skills & Experiences

Required

• Demonstrated relevant industry experience in product management, typically around 5 years
• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (Kanban, Agile, Waterfall)
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise multiple work items based on urgency and business impact
• High attention to detail

Preferred

• Understanding of UX/UI
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot
• Keen Interest in Sport
