Job description

Product Manager

London - (c.2-3 days a week on-site - City Centre)

Bright Purple are supporting a rapidly scaling climate-tech organisation that helps major global enterprises unlock high-quality, trustworthy environmental data. As they continue to expand their platform and customer base, they’re looking for a Product Manager to join their growing team.

The Company

Our client is backed by world-class investors and works with some of the world’s most recognisable brands. Their platform sits at the centre of enterprise sustainability operations — structuring messy, inconsistent data into accurate environmental insights and enabling organisations to meet reporting, compliance, and decarbonisation requirements with confidence.

With strong market traction and a huge opportunity ahead, they’re moving from service-led to truly product-led delivery and need a Product Manager who can help drive that evolution.

The Role

As a Product Manager, you’ll be at the core of product discovery, customer engagement, and outcome-focused delivery. You’ll partner closely with customers, designers, engineers, and GTM teams to understand needs, shape solutions, and bring new capabilities to life.

You’ll influence the product development lifecycle, drive evidence-based decision making, and help establish processes that enable the team to move faster while maintaining quality.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end product discovery and delivery across high-impact roadmap areas.
  • Engage directly with customers to uncover pain points, synthesise insights, and validate solutions.
  • Shape communication and release processes, ensuring effective customer adoption.
  • Improve product analytics and instrumentation to support measurement-led iteration.
  • Contribute to and evolve internal product rituals, documentation, and team practices.
  • Explore and champion AI-powered tools to accelerate discovery and delivery.
  • Model strong, authentic leadership across cross-functional teams.
About You
  • Curious, outcome-driven, and energised by complex problem spaces.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation startup environment.
  • Skilled at leading discovery and translating insights into actionable product work.
  • A strong communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and motivated by making meaningful, measurable progress.
Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, ideally in SaaS or data-focused environments.
  • Practical experience with customer/user discovery.
  • Exposure to product analytics and measurement practices.
  • Experience running or supporting agile rituals and delivery cycles.
  • Familiarity with modern digital/AI tools (Figma Make, Loveable, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and driving clarity.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with data products or technical SMEs (carbon, ESG, analytics).
  • Exposure to enterprise B2B users.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, climate, or environmental data domains.
  • Understanding of data models, APIs, or cross-functional tech teams.
  • Experience contributing to documentation or internal enablement.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Share options / equity
  • Private healthcare
  • 25 days holiday + 3 days off over Christmas + your birthday off
